Earlier today (Friday), IDF forces identified an armed terrorist cell from the Hamas terror organization operating near IDF forces in the northern Gaza Strip in a manner that posed an immediate threat to the forces.

Immediately after identification, the IDF carried out a targeted attack on the cell in order to remove the threat, and a hit was confirmed.

IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area according to the agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.
