WATCH: ‘Hatikvah’ sung on court as EuroLeague basketball returns

EuroLeague basketball returned to Tel Aviv after two years, and Israeli guitarist Avi Singolda played “Hatikvah” – Israel’s national anthem – on court before a packed arena as Maccabi Tel Aviv defeated ASVEL Villeurbanne 92–84 on an emotional homecoming night.

After a two-year hiatus, Eurobasketball finally returned to Israel - and the emotion was undeniable.

Fans, players, families… everyone felt the magic of coming home to the court again.
