UPDATE - IDF forces eliminated the terrorist who carried out the shooting attack near the village of Tell in Samaria and recovered the stolen weapon used in the attack. The terrorist opened fire after stealing a security officer’s weapon, injuring several Israeli civilians, and was eliminated immediately afterward. A joint assessment is underway involving the IDF Central Command, the Judea and Samaria Division, Israel Police, and the Shin Bet.

Coordinated Ambush: On Friday morning, a group of veteran Israeli hikers was targeted in an integrated assault on the outskirts of Tel village, located near the Gilad Junction in Samaria.
Escalation & Weapon Theft: As local residents assembled around the hiking group, assailants attacked the hikers and disarmed an arriving local security coordinator. The attackers then used the stolen weapon to open fire on the group.
Casualties & Treatment: Four hikers sustained injuries in the attack. Emergency medical teams from Magen David Adom (MDA) treated the victims at the scene, including one individual in serious condition who lost consciousness.
