Exiled crown prince and Iranian opposition leader Reza Pahlavi delivered a blunt message to the foreign representatives who traveled to Tehran for the funeral of eliminated dictator Ali Khamenei: They do not represent the feelings of the Iranian people.
Pahlavi said Iran is not mourning Khamenei, but the tens of thousands of sons and daughters he says were slaughtered by the regime’s repression machinery on January 8 and 9.
He accused the Islamic Republic of spending vast amounts of the Iranian people’s money to stage a propaganda spectacle, while noting that no democratic leader attended the funeral.
