US President Donald Trump said the decision on when to end the ongoing war with Iran will be made in coordination with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, describing it as a “mutual” determination between the two leaders.
In an interview Sunday, Trump emphasized the close strategic coordination between Washington and Jerusalem as the conflict continues. He said both leaders remain in constant communication and that any decision on the timing of the war’s end will take into account developments on the battlefield.
“I think it’s mutual … we’ve been talking,” Trump said. “I’ll make a decision at the right time, but everything will be taken into account.”
Trump made clear that while Netanyahu’s input will be significant, the final call will ultimately rest with the US president.
