Hamas claims that Israel is sending SMS messages to Gazans, encouraging them to demonstrate against Hamas and to pass on information to the IDF.

Sources affiliated with Hamas report that Palestinians received SMS messages: "The Messenger of God, peace be upon him, said: The greatest jihad in the face of Allah is a word of truth spoken against a tyrannical rule.
