Amid the growing threat of China in the Indian Ocean, the US Navy has prepared a framework to increase the number of ships and submarines. Released in July, the ‘NAVPLAN’ 2022 lays out an ambitious blueprint for adding 373 manned ships and 150 unmanned ships by 2045.
