He named the fallen, praised their service, and expressed deep condolences to their families. He even acknowledged that Hezbollah was responsible. And yet—he chose to describe the perpetrators not as terrorists, but as “fighters.”

This was no accident. It reflects a long-standing European policy. Countries like France, and indeed much of European Union, continue to avoid fully designating Hezbollah as a terrorist organization, despite overwhelming evidence of its global terror activities.

The hypocrisy is glaring.
