Western source: North Korea sent 10,000 soldiers to help Russia in the war in Ukraine
A Western diplomat familiar with the matter told the Kyiv Independent newspaper yesterday, October 15, that North Korea has sent 10,000 troops to Russia to bolster its war efforts against Ukraine.

Concerns about the deepening of military ties between Moscow and Pyongyang rose dramatically this week.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on October 13 that Russia's plans to support a full invasion of Ukraine this fall would include "the actual involvement of North Korea in the war."
The Western diplomat told the Kyiv Independent newspaper that it is not clear what kind of soldiers they are or what their role is.
