Forces from the 401st Brigade Combat Team in the 162nd Division and 13th Fleet fighters carried out a targeted raid based on intelligence information on schools in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City.
During the raid, the forces eliminated terrorists who were in the compound. In addition, after investigations carried out by the field investigators of Unit 504, dozens of terrorists were transferred for further investigation in the territory of the country.
In the schools, which are adjacent to mosques and residential buildings, hundreds of weapons were found, including grenades, weapons, RPG missiles, explosives and various media.
"We raided a school where a large population was hiding," said Major (resp.) R., deputy company commander in the 13th Fleet, "after the evacuation of the population, many weapons were found in the compound that were hidden among the citizens' equipment."
The Major (resp.) continued: "Among other things, we also found weapons, cartridges, grenade launchers, charges and grenades with advanced and innovative operating mechanisms."
