There are those who hope that the Iranian economy will be able to recover from the destruction caused by the rotten and corrupt regime of the Mullahs, thanks to the agreement to renew diplomatic relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia.
Others claim that if somehow the Iranians succeed in signing some kind of nuclear agreement, this too will succeed in saving the collapsing Iranian economy.
Allow me not to participate in the celebration of the optimism surrounding the "imminent recovery" of the Iranian regime's economy, and to show you another angle of the things that are destroying Iran's economy, and that no agreement with the world state will be able to improve or save.
In Iran, there are today basically two different economies, one under the ownership and run by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards (IRGC), and the other by the "rest" like in any normal country. For years, the corrupt government has forced hardships on the public sector in order to move their activities to the IRGC-run businesses.
The IRGC has been cannibalizing entire sectors of the economy in order to transfer the assets and move work to companies owned by the Revolutionary Guards and regime associates.
Some of the money these businesses generate fund IRGC activities, but in the last decade, more and more are going directly into ORGC elite's pockets.
NEWSRAEL: In the end, anyone wishing to do business in Iran under the Ayatollah regime, will have to do business with the IRGC. Since the internal corruption is so rife, it is obvious that there will come a day when these businesses will crash.
The short answer to doing business in Iran is the same you can find in Lebanon - who in his right mind will invest in them?
Iran is a large country with not only huge natural resources, but large human resources. As a target for investment, there are very large and varied options, and one day Iran will become a very rich and prosperous country. But for that to happen, the current uprising must win, and all remnants of the Ayatollah regime must be erased.
