The Mount Hermon ski resort is due to reopen on March 4 after being closed for the last year and a half. Although skiing is unavailable — cable car infrastructure was damaged during Hezbollah rocket barrages — visitors can enjoy snow activities, a visitor cable car, sledding, and the “Skyrider” VR attraction.
“Over the past few months, forces have conducted ongoing situation assessments, alongside defense activities in cooperation with security and civilian elements, in order to maintain a high level of readiness while dealing with daily challenges in the field,” the military said.
