The residents went to an intersection in the area and blocked it while shouting against the government and its dysfunction. Among the protesters, a police vehicle can also be seen supervising to ensure things do not get out of control.

In recent days, the issue of water shortage and the deliberate interruptions in water flow to homes has become the most talked-about topic among Iranians on social networks alongside the electricity shortage.
