Concern in Israel and fear of expanding Chinese influence: F-35 sale deal to Saudi Arabia
Against the backdrop of the F-35 sale deal to Saudi Arabia, an NTD English news presenter spoke with Rick Fisher, a senior fellow at the "Center for International Assessment and Strategy."
According to Fisher: "This sale is one of the most significant military strategic developments in US-Middle East relations in many years. Allowing Saudi Arabia to purchase F-35 fighter jets is not just a matter of selling combat aircraft; it is essentially an invitation for Saudi Arabia to join a global intelligence network."
"In a way, the US really had no choice but to sell the F-35 jets to Saudi Arabia, because otherwise, within just a few years, China would probably be able to sell fifth-generation fighter jets to Saudi Arabia itself," Fisher adds.
