Because of Israel's threats: Qataris are afraid to fly to Tehran

The Iranians are VERY angry with Qatar.

Their anger burst after the Qatar Football Association appealed to the Asian Football Confederation and requested that the football match between the two teams that should take place in Tehran next week be moved to a neutral ground.

The match is part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers and according to the reports, the Qataris claim that due to the Israeli threats to attack Iran and the suspension of flights announced yesterday in Iran, it is not safe for their delegation to reach Iran.

Qatar demands that the match be moved outside of Tehran and is ready to host the match in Doha, with the return leg scheduled to take place in June being held in Tehran if possible.
