Have the Houthis opened a new "front" against CENTCOM?
Recently, the Houthis established a terrorist "battalion" operating from Iraqi territory and called it the "Hassan Nasrallah Battalion."
The Houthi activities in Iraq are financed mainly by the Shiite militias in the country, which are supported by Iran, through funds mainly from oil smuggling from Iraq to various countries.
The funding volume is approximately $100 million per year.
The Houthis also increased their efforts to open bank accounts in Iraq to finance these operations - there were also attempts in other Muslim countries, but they were blocked due to the sanctions imposed on the Houthis.
