The outgoing Chief of Staff of the IDF, General Aviv Kochavi, announced that the army prepared plans to attack Iran, according to what was reported by the Israel Broadcasting Corporation on Friday.
In addition, R.A. Kochavi revealed that "Iran today possesses enough enriched material to produce four nuclear bombs."
Lt. Col. Kochavi said, "During the past year, the IDF formulated three plans for an attack on Iran, as a retaliatory attack, as an attack unrelated to the nuclear program, to destroy nuclear facilities and centers and headquarters that support the nuclear project."
"If it is about entering a major battle, other military sites and assets will be included in the list of targets."
In an interview with the media before leaving his post, he added that "Iran today possesses enough enriched material to produce four nuclear bombs - three at the twenty percent level and one at the sixty percent level."
Later in the interview he warned the Hezbollah organization and said that the army has also prepared offensive plans for it if it decides to escalate the situation.
