Israel, Syria and the United States have agreed to establish a joint intelligence-sharing and coordination mechanism designed to allow immediate and continuous communication between the parties.
The dedicated communication cell will focus on intelligence sharing, reducing military tensions, diplomatic engagement, and identifying potential commercial opportunities, under US oversight. According to the agreement, the mechanism will serve as a platform for the rapid resolution of disputes and for preventing misunderstandings before they escalate.
The mechanism will be permanently staffed by Syrian, Israeli and American representatives, with some participants operating virtually. It will be located in a third country, outside Israel and Syria. In parallel, it was agreed to launch direct talks between Jerusalem and Damascus on civilian issues, including medicine, energy and agriculture.
