In Beirut, the mood is clear. Residents have begun stockpiling food and basic supplies, convinced that another war with Israel is just around the corner.
Over the past week, the IDF has sharply increased its attacks on Hezbollah, targeting both commanders and key infrastructure in southern Lebanon. The escalation comes as Hezbollah boasts that it has “replenished” its arsenal and reinforced the ranks of its terror army.
The terror-army has also threatened to respond to any Israeli action — though so far, those threats have not materialized. Still, the tension is unmistakable, and every strike, every drone, every explosion along the border could be the spark that reignites a full-scale war.
If Hezbollah does decide to escalate, it will find an IDF that is not only stronger than before but armed with far greater intelligence.
