During an assessment visit to Judea and Samaria, COS Zamir say that the IDF is "ready" on all fronts
Chief of Staff, Lt. Col. Eyal Zamir, today (Wednesday) conducted a situation assessment and tour of Northern Samaria, together with the Commander of the Central Command, Maj. Gen. Avi Balut, the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories, Maj. Gen. Yoram Halevi, the Military Advocate General, Maj. Gen. Itai Ofir, Head of the Civil Administration, Brigadier General Hisham Ibrahim, Commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Kobi Heller, Commander of the Samaria Brigade, Commander of the Menashe Brigade and other commanders.
The brigade commanders presented the sectoral situation to the Chief of Staff. In addition, the Chief of Staff spoke with the battalion commanders and fighters and expressed great appreciation for their work, the ongoing operational activities, and the achievements they have brought in recent weeks. He also expressed appreciation for the close cooperation with all security agencies in thwarting terrorism.
Chief of Staff, Lt. Col. Eyal Zamir, spoke: "The IDF operates in all arenas with initiative and offensiveness. We have created a new security reality - we continue fighting in Lebanon, operate in the Litani and in other areas, and thwart dozens of terrorists and infrastructure every day.
