The Houthis in Yemen clarified yesterday in a message sent by email to media outlets that ships fully owned by Israel or those sailing under the Israeli flag still cannot sail in the Red Sea and the Arabian Sea and will continue to be targeted as long as the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip is not fully implemented.
However, the Houthis are easing what they call "sanctions" and will not attack ships operated by Israeli-affiliated companies or foreign ships sailing to Israel.
The Houthis also intend to stop attacks on British- and American-owned ships, but have stressed that if these two countries carry out airstrikes in Yemen, their ships will be targeted by Houthi missiles and drones.
