Violence and chaos break out in Turkish cities

Violence broke out earlier in Ankara and Istanbul as students began to engage the police.

Reports that 20 have been blinded by being shot with rubber bullets. 200 students have been arrested with the eldest just 23 years-old.

In all, 2,000 demonstrators have been jailed and the demonstrations are still going with crowds of hundreds of thousands in different cities.
