BREAKING: 9 killed in US air strike on Iranian facilities in Syria

Nine people "linked to groups supported by Iran" were killed in the American attack in eastern Syria on Wednesday, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.

Earlier, the Pentagon announced that two American F-15s attacked a weapons storage facility used by the Iranian Revolutionary Guards in Syria.

The attack was carried out as an act of self-defense after an attack on the US military base in the al-Shadadi oil field.

NEWSRAEL: This does not seem to be any change in CENTCOM policy, but rather a message to Iran that the US can hit - and kill - anywhere in the arena - at will.
