Israel buys from Boeing 4 of the world's most advanced refueling planes

The Israeli Air Force and the Boeing company signed a contract for 927 million dollars, from the American aid funds to Israel, for the purchase of 4 KC-46A refueling aircraft.

Four refueling planes of the most advanced type in the world will arrive in Israel - according to a contract signed today (Thursday) between the Israeli Air Force and the Boeing Company. Israel will be the third country to be equipped with these planes and will join the American and Japanese air forces. These planes may assist in an attack on Iran.

The contract, for $927 million, is for the production of four KC-46A refueling aircraft. The planes will reach the Air Force in 2025 and are intended to replace the Boeing 707 refueling planes.
