Yesterday, the IDF, led by the Northern Command, attacked and eliminated using Air Force aircraft, the terrorist Muhammad Abbas Shashua, who served as the head of artillery in the Suhmur region in southern Lebanon, in the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

During the war, the terrorist promoted numerous rocket fire plots toward Kiryat Shmona and the Golan Heights, and recently engaged in restoring terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and promoting terrorist plots against our forces.

In addition, the terrorist Muhammad Hussein Yassin, a senior member of the Hezbollah terrorist organization's artillery unit in the Shiqif sector, was eliminated yesterday. During the war, the terrorist promoted numerous terrorist plots toward the Galilee Finger and Kiryat Shmona and worked to restore the organization's capabilities in its sector and in transferring weapons south of the Litani.

The terrorists' actions constituted a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon. The IDF will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel.
