The Civil Defense Organization published a statement, in which it declared a state of cyber alert at the "red" level following the recent events and the possibility of expanding cyber attacks against critical infrastructures in Iran.
The organization stated that the following steps should be implemented immediately:
▪️ Inspection, assessment and implementation of urgent protection actions.
▪️ Non-stop continuous monitoring and control of systems and networks, 24/7.
▪️ Systems that offer services over the Internet will be moved to operate in the Iran Access format only.
▪️ Any incident, event, news or message, whether technically verified or not, must be reported to the Civil Defense Organization immediately at all hours of the day.
▪️ Control of access to the systems must be tightened and any attempt to gain unauthorized access must be actively managed.
▪️ Technical expert teams and rapid response teams must be available and on full alert.
▪️ Closer supervision should be exercised over contractors' access to the systems, and all access by external contractors should be completely blocked.
The Strategic Center for Cyber Security Management announced in an official announcement:
▪️ In accordance with the previous announcement, and after coordination with the National Center for Cyberspace, a state of alert at the "Red" level will be announced in all sectors throughout the country for the next 48 hours.
