Reporters Without Borders has published a new classification for press freedom, entitled "The New Age of Polarization," which placed Syria under Assad's rule at the bottom of the world.

In a classification released on the occasion of World Press Freedom Day, Syria was ranked 2nd to last in the Arab world, and 171 in the world, out of 180 countries included in the report.
