Read carefully The Jordanian message complaining of what they claim Israeli MInister Kahana said on TV - and the exact quote of the Israeli Minister.
Note the way the Jordanians mis-quote on purpose the minister in order to show their anger. This is a country that signed a "peace" agreement with Israel?
It should be be noted that the current "Bennett-Lapid" government which has in its coalition both Israeli Left-wing parties (Meretz and Labor) and an Arab party (Ra'am) is bending over backwards to improve relations with the Jordanians including: Giving water-poor Jordan twice the amount Israel was obliged under the "peace" treaty and the signing of the "Water-Electricity" agreement which would greatly help the cash-poor Kingdom.
First - the exact quote form Religious minister Matan Kahane:
"It is right to allow Jews to pray on the Temple Mount. The Temple Mount is the holiest place for the Jewish people. We must move forward in a correct manner."
Here is the Jordanian message with the fake words they made up:
The Jordanian Foreign Ministry condemns the statements of Minister of Religions Matan Kahana regarding the sanctity of the Temple Mount to Jews and the desire to build the Temple and calls them "provocations and disqualifications against the Al-Aqsa Mosque." The statement added that these statements constituted a dangerous violation of the status quo in the al-Aqsa Mosque, and that the mosque on its entire territory is a pure place of worship for Muslims only.
