The chairman of the Christian Lebanese Forces Party, Samir Jaja, said today after the launch of Hezbollah's skimmer in to Israel that "the Lebanon we want is not a Lebanon of drones used outside the legal framework. We want Lebanon for development, for the advancement of science and success."
He made the remarks at an election rally: "Lebanon will come back with your votes."
In another event, the Christian Lebanese forces (from the camp that is opposed to Hezbollah) are criticizing the terrorist organization following the launch of its skimmer into Israel yesterday. The party's foreign policy chief, Richard Kiyomojian, said in an interview that Iran uses its proxy Hezbollah to send messages to the United States and pressure it in the current negotiations in Vienna.
He added that the ability to produce missiles and drones should only be in the hands of the Lebanese state and not in the hands of another source and wondered why Lebanese President Michel Aoun does not demand accountability from Hezbollah on this issue.
