This is their  yearly summit amid Russia’s ongoing war on Ukraine and growing uncertainty about Washington’s future role in the alliance.

The NATO summit, starting Tuesday and lasting two days, is the first to be attended by US President Donald Trump since beginning his second term in January.

The agenda includes the war in Ukraine, instability in the Middle East, and the issue of how much member states are contributing to their collective defense.
