Erdogan is speeding up construction of nuclear reactor
Significant progress was made at the end of the week regarding the construction of the nuclear reactor for energy production in southern Turkey.

The project includes 4 reactors and after they are activated it will be responsible for producing up to 10% of the electricity consumption in Turkey.
The Turkish government aims to start operating the first reactor in the project whose capacity will reach 4,800 megawatts already before the general elections in the summer of next year. In the past, President Erdogan has suggested that Turkey work with Russia to build two more nuclear power plants.
