The IAF is continues to "even the odds" between the anti-regime popular uprising - and the Iran regime.
The Israeli Air Force released video footage showing precision strikes against Basij and IRGC checkpoints across Iran, part of an ongoing effort to weaken the regime’s internal control mechanisms. These checkpoints have been widely used by the regime’s security forces to suppress protests and monitor civilian movement.
According to the footage, the strikes targeted roadblocks and security positions operated by Basij militia and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps units. The goal appears to be disrupting the regime’s ability to enforce order and intimidate civilians during the growing unrest across the country.
NEWSRAEL: WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
The Basij militia is one of the regime’s primary tools for crushing dissent, often deployed to intimidate and violently suppress demonstrators. By striking these checkpoints, Israel is not only hitting security infrastructure but also attempting to shift the balance of power inside Iran. If the regime’s internal enforcement network weakens significantly, widespread public protests could rapidly escalate into a larger challenge to the government’s control.
