After the assassination of Qassem Soleimani in 2020, President Trump famously said: “Iran has never won a war, but never lost a negotiation.”
That is exactly why many people, especially in Israel, are asking a very simple question: Why stop a successful war against Iran and enter negotiations with a regime that has spent decades proving it uses diplomacy as a weapon?
Ever since the talks began, the Iranians have used every trick they know to turn the tables on both the US and Israel — which, strangely enough, is not even part of these negotiations.
Instead of helping their own people, Iran’s rulers are working around the clock to rebuild their war machine. They are claiming they won the war, and therefore have the right to make demands. They are feeding lies and propaganda to the world media. They are threatening Israel if it acts in Beirut. They are attacking Gulf Arabs and daring the US Army to respond.
