WATCH: Main highway to Jerusalem blocked, Fire in Ramat Beit Shemesh nearing residents' home

119 firefighting teams and 10 aircraft battle raging fires, Israel has asked for international assistance

Another large fire has broken out, this time near residences in Ramat Beit Shemesh B.

The brush fire began in an open area, but soon approached a line of homes.

Magen David Adom (MDA) teams and ten firefighting teams are at the scene, working with police and the Beit Shemesh municipality to evacuate the first row of residential buildings and provide medical aid to those who require it.

Someone is setting these fires in a strategic way. Watch your backs and don’t allow yourselves to be distracted if this is a prelude to an attack. May the God of Israel arise and snuff out this fire!
