This is the title of a very interesting article written yesterday by senior Kuwaiti journalist Ahmad Al-Jarallah on the Kuwaiti "Alsiasa" website in the context of normalization between Israel and Saudi Arabia, in which he appeals to Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman with a request to abandon the Palestinian issue. Here is his text and summary:

"While we were calling for Palestine, they planned to kill us and while we took money from ourselves for their sake, they spent it on the destruction of our countries and said "Allah Akbar!" (as a sign of joy) every time Saddam Hussein fired a missile at Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. 

Listen to the Friday sermons in Gaza and the West Bank and the curses that are rained down on them against The House of Saud, your father and yours personally, and against all the peoples of the Gulf. 

Israel has not committed a tenth of the crimes committed by the Palestinian organizations against us, therefore we say on behalf of the peoples of the Arab Gulf - be wise and trust in Allah"

Additional points he brought up in condemning the Palestinians:

- The Palestinians use the aid they receive from the Gulf countries to build palaces and buy properties in European cities and spend huge sums of money on gambling, because they are sure they can do whatever they want with the "uncles" money

- The peoples of the Gulf countries are no longer ready to put the interests of the Palestinians before their own

- Gaza leaders kiss the hands of the Iranians

- Today's Israel has become an existing fact with the support of Europe and the West while the Palestinians living abroad are raising generations who do not know Palestinians except through slogans and songs

- The rich of the Palestinian organizations live like kings, their children are businessmen, and they hold lavish weddings for millions, all from the donations of the Arabs, especially from the Gulf, for which they received in return only curses and threats.

- In the sixties of the last century, Kuwait worried about Arafat and the PLO and Arafat in return supported Saddam Hussein when he invaded Kuwait and sowed destruction within it.

- The Palestinian organizations hijacked planes and carried out terrorism in Arab countries such as Jordan and Lebanon in order to "remind the world of the issue" and killed tens of thousands of people.

- The Palestinian organizations sold the slogan "Liberation of Palestine" for their own needs and personal benefit and forgot about their country.

- The world does not wait for the weak, and the Palestinian factions live on political blackmail and whoever does not submit to it they assassinate him or distort his image or curse him, while they live a life of riches.

An interesting detail about the author of the article - he visited Israel, documented it in his newspaper, was tried for it in 1997 and paid a fine of 5000 Kuwaiti dinars.
