The Jerusalem District Fire and Rescue Center received a report of a thorn fire that broke out in an open area in the neighborhood, and the police evacuated the school and residential buildings in the area. Firefighters rushed to the scene.

A fire broke out today (Thursday) in an open area in Jerusalem, near 18 Hanurit Street in the Kiryat Menachem Ir neighborhood. Five fire crews were rushed to the scene and are working to put out the fire. Residential buildings and schools in the area were evacuated by police for fear of the fire spreading.
