IDF spokesperson: Identification of anti-tank squads and their elimination - activity of the collection unit 'Nitsan' (636) in the Gaza Strip

Fighter teams of the 636th Battalion of the Border Protection Corps in the Central Command, regular and in reserve, are integrated into the fighting forces in the Gaza Strip.

As part of their activity in the Beit Hanun area, the collection fighters identified an observation post set up by Hamas terrorists, the fighters directed accurate fire, eliminated the terrorists and brought about a quick closing of the circle on the terrorists and the observation post.

In addition, with the help of advanced observation capabilities and the use of drones, three terrorists armed with RPG missiles and Kalashnikovs were identified in the Beit Hanon area. The collection forces directed a precise air strike and the terrorists were eliminated.
