He says the leading social media accounts spreading hostility toward Israel are not based in Gaza, but are run largely by Muslim diaspora activists, far-left networks, and coordinated influence operations tied to China and Russia.

According to Yousef, these actors are hijacking the tragedy in Gaza—created by Hamas and other jihadist groups—to sow division in Western societies and undermine their values. He stresses that Gazans themselves seek freedom from Hamas, from the ideology of perpetual conflict, and from being used as human shields for the agendas of outside powers. Yet, he says, foreign actors and local collaborators continue to weaponize Gaza’s suffering for political and geopolitical gain.

He calls on the world to expose those who exploit Gaza’s children for influence and propaganda.
