In the face of a wave of reports that Hezbollah had stopped paying its people salaries in dollars, the Shiite organization was quick to deny them. 

Due to the growing demand for the dollar in the Lebanese market and the depreciation of the pound, a wave of news began, according to which Nasrallah's organization was forced to start paying in Lebanese currency. 

Hezbollah denies this, but those close to them admit that extra stipends he provides to his people are paid in pounds and not in dollars.

The fact that Hezbollah members receive their basic wages in dollars actually "protects" them financially from the shocks that the market is going through due to the depreciation of the pound, compared to those who are not affiliated with the Shiite organization.
