Earlier this week, at a rally of Turkish President Erdogan in the western province of Sakarya, an anti-Israel banner was hoisted that read: "Enough of the trade disgrace with Israel."
Erdogan's people did not like it and made sure to immediately remove the poster.
In Turkey, there are large groups who call for an end to trade relations with Israel as long as the war in Gaza continues.
The problem is that there are reports that despite Erdogan's harsh criticism against Israel, leading Turkish companies and those close to the government continue to do business with Israel even these days.
NEWSRAEL: It seems that Erdogan is happy to continue to "do business under the table" with Israel, and is worried about the several big Israeli companies who have already broken off trading with the Turkish Hamas-supporters.
