Trump holds Situation Room meeting on major Iran strike

The White House meeting focused on new plans for broader attacks against strategic targets inside Iran.

President Donald Trump convened a meeting in the White House Situation Room to discuss the possibility of launching a large-scale military attack against Iran.

According to sources, the scope of the proposed strikes would be significantly broader than the current US military operations in and around the Strait of Hormuz.

The meeting reportedly focused on new attack plans targeting strategic sites across Iran as Washington considers a major expansion of its campaign against the Islamic regime.
