Israel’s Ambassador to the United States, Yechiel Leiter, visited Lockheed Martin’s F-35 production facility and signed one of the advanced fighter jets destined for the Israeli Air Force, dedicating it to the memory of his son, who was killed in combat during the ongoing war in Gaza.
Leiter, who assumed his post in January 2025, toured the facility and emphasized the deep strategic and moral partnership between Israel and the United States.
He praised the collaboration between Lockheed Martin and the Israeli Air Force, noting that shared expertise and operational experience strengthen both nations’ defense capabilities.
