"The whole staff was excited": the hospitals in the various centers in Israel rejoiced this evening (Sunday) with the first babies of the new year.
The first birth at the Sheba Medical Center for the year 5783 is that of Natalie Peles, 24 years old from Ramat Gan, who gave birth to her first daughter on New Year's Eve weighing 3.305. The birth was accompanied by the midwife Yehiela Heina.
The mother said: "This is the most special and best gift we could ask for for the New Year and of course we thank the dear team of Sheba."
