Police spokesperson Border Police: Two terrorist attacks in Judea and Samaria and Jerusalem thwarted

Last night, Border Guard soldiers operating in the Hawara sector of the regional division "Samaria" identified a suspect with his hands in his pockets and looking confused at Yitzhar Junction.

A team of Border Guard soldiers who were operating in the area as part of the ongoing activity to increase the sense of security among the citizens immediately noticed the suspect and went to check on him.

In the search carried out by the soldiers on the suspect's body, the soldiers seized 2 knives and a letter in which he asked for forgiveness from his parents while promising that they would receive a large amount of money for his future actions.

The 21-year-old suspect, a resident of Araba village in the Jenin district, was transferred to the General Security Service for further investigation.

This incident was added to the activities of the Border Guard soldiers last night in the Old City of Jerusalem, during which the soldiers arrested a suspect who hid scissors on his body and that the suspect was planning to carry out an attack, the suspect was arrested and handed over for further investigation by the police.
