This morning, the IDF attacked targets of the Houthi terror regime in the port of Hodeidah, Yemen, using Navy missile ships.

The attack was carried out in response to the aggression of the Houthi terror regime toward the State of Israel, during which ground-to-ground missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles were launched toward the country's territory and its citizens.

The attack was intended to deepen the impact on the military use of the port, which was attacked by the IDF in the past year and continues to be used for terrorist activities. The attacked port is used for the transfer of weapons and serves as another example of the cynical use and exploitation by the Houthi terror regime of civilian infrastructure to advance terrorist activities.

The attack was carried out following numerous prior warnings by the IDF to minimize potential harm to the civilian population in the area.

For the past year and a half, the Houthi terror regime has been acting aggressively, under Iranian guidance and funding, to harm the State of Israel and its allies, destabilize the regional order, and disrupt global freedom of navigation.

In light of the military use of this port by the Houthi terror regime, the IDF reiterates its warning to those present in the port to stay away and evacuate the area.

The IDF is determined to continue acting and striking forcefully against anyone who poses a threat to the residents of the State of Israel, wherever it may be required.
