The General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) held a learning forum Monday and Tuesday, led by military chief Lt. Gen. Aviv Kochavi, to summarize Operation Guardian of the Walls.

The forum is an integral part of the IDF’s inquiring and learning process that has been assessed since the confrontation with Gaza’s terrorist organizations ended on May 21, 2021.

Over the last several weeks, IDF units, divisions and headquarters held debriefings over preparations and preparedness of the operation.
