Susie Wiles, Chief of Staff to US President Donald Trump, gave an interview that appears to fit the late Dov Schweitzer’s famous warning to his players about media interviews: Why is the fish on the plate? Because it opened its mouth.
According to material circulating in Telegram groups and translations of the interview, Wiles made a series of highly critical remarks in interviews with Vanity Fair about President Trump and several of his closest allies during the first year of his second term.
Wiles reportedly described Trump as having “the personality of an alcoholic.” She said Vice President J.D. Vance was “a conspiracy theory enthusiast for a decade,” and claimed that his shift from being a critic of Trump to becoming one of his key allies was not based on principle, but rather on political calculation, as Vance was running for the Senate.
Regarding Elon Musk, Wiles allegedly said he is a “self-declared ketamine user” and described him as “a strange guy, very strange,” adding that his actions are “not always rational.” On Attorney General Pam Bondi, she reportedly said that Bondi “completely missed the mark” in her handling of the Epstein files.
