A source close to the commander of the Quds Force, Ismail Qaani, confirmed that the investigations carried out by Iran after the bombing aimed at an American base in northeastern Syria last week, an attack not authorized by the IRGC.
This attack, which led to an American counterattack in which 19 of Iran's allies were killed, led to the discovery of a cell of Revolutionary Guard officers and others belonging to the Lebanese, Syrian factions, the Iraqis and Yemenis loyal to Iran, who planned to block and sabotage the Saudi rapprochement with Iran, after the signing of the Beijing agreement to restore relations between the two countries.
