Russian forces claim they killed 120 militants in Syria, the truth is far from that
IDLIB, Syria (North Press) – Russian Reconciliation Center for Syria in Khmeimim Air Base said on Thursday that the Russian Air Force destroyed a camp for “terrorists” in the Sheikh Youssef area of Idlib, northwest Syria, killing more than 120 militants.

Reports from other, more serious and impoartial sources in Syria say that only 8 were killed in the attack, and they were civilians. The question being asked in Middle East analyst circles is why they made this statement - and for who?
It seems that this is connected to the war in Ukraine and Putin hopes to gain points amoung his own supporters back home.
