Israeli media have released new details about Mossad’s role in the 12-day war with Iran, offering what they called “exclusive revelations.”
The campaign, launched to counter Tehran’s nuclear and ballistic missile threats, killed hundreds of IRGC members, including senior commanders, eliminated 15 nuclear scientists, and claimed dozens of civilian lives.
The Jerusalem Post reported that dozens of Mossad women agents were directly involved in operations inside Iran. Their roles ranged from supervising missions to recruiting foreign spies and overseeing attacks on sensitive infrastructure. One senior operative, identified only by initials, had previously lit Israel’s Independence Day torch in 2024 while masked after receiving the Medal of Courage from the president.
Channel 13 described Mossad’s deployment of a “small army” of about 100 trained agents inside Iran. Equipment used to cripple Iranian missile systems was smuggled over time, assembled locally, and then employed in coordinated strikes. Analysts noted that Mossad’s opening moves were so effective that Iran only managed its first missile retaliation on the second day of the war.
